Barry did his undergraduate work at MIT in Cambridge, MA in Biology, then completed a PhD and post-doctoral fellowship in molecular biology and viruses at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.
He’s been a professor at Towson University, just outside Baltimore, since 2001, where he teaches a gamut of courses in molecular and cellular biology and infectious disease and does research on herpes viruses.
The conversation revolves around 3 questions:
1) How do you define creativity?
2) How do you incorporate it into your life?
3) Why do you think it is important?
It is a free flowing conversation and you never know where it will go.
