Kat Nemec is the owner and lead creative of studiokat, a graphic design firm specializing in branding and print work for non-profits, hospitals, and cultural organizations.

 

In the past 9 months while the needs of her clients are less, she has focused on...her blog swooning.me, felting adorable animals and vegetables, cooking dinners that don’t only involve chicken and broccoli, baking pies for her pie-loving guy, embracing her frizzy gray hair, and organizing virtual celebrations for family and friends.

 

She gets great joy from crossing off her to do lists, surprising people with bits of goodness, connecting humans, collaborating on community projects, and watching her two twenty-something kids figure out who they are and how to embrace this crazy world. Kat would like to be remembered as someone who tried.
