The I Am Creative Podcast is all about expanding the definition of what creativity means beyond a pencil and a paintbrush .

We are having authentic conversations structured around three questions:

1. How we define creativity means

2. How we incorporate it into our lives

3. How creativity has healed us spiritually, emotionally and or physically

4. Why it is important

These are not light questions... it is kind of the meaning of life... We do all of this while having fun!!!!

My inspiring guest for today, Leslie Kuny is a full-time dance teacher and choreographer, a certified dance adjudicator through The Dance Leadership Institute and the Professional Adjudicators Alliance and the Artistic Director and owner of Absolute Motion Performance & Dance studio in Surrey British Columbia.

Her passion is empowering and educating the next generation of dancers to be their best selves. Leslie's human-centred approach to coaching rejects the outdated norms of fear-based authoritarian learning that is so frequently associated with dance education.

Through authenticity, accountability, and alignment Leslie brings out the best in her dancers and leads them to their individual goals. Her greatest joy is working with students, both in the studio and from behind the adjudicators' table, to assist them in uncovering who they truly are as dancers and as people.
