I Am Creative with Hollis Citron
These conversations are to be a safe space to create connection, share stories, foster self expression and feel empowered! Creativity goes beyond the pencil and the brush. Creativity is your unique and original exploration, expansion, expression of your imagination. Even if you are not “an artist”, you are creative. You are creative because you are the only person that can add your gifts to the things that you create. You are creative because only you can express your ideas and greatness with the world.

Creative Conversations Connects with Spirit
Saturday Aug 08, 2020
Saturday Aug 08, 2020
Clare began connecting with Spirit when she was 14years old. She started hearing voices and soon realized she wasn't as "normal" as my friends. After the loss of her dad when she was little it came as a great comfort to her when she began receiving guidance from him on the other side and after connecting with her Spirit guides her journey really began.
Clare is all about mindfulness and my big takeaway from her is her words that when you trust yourself the energy just flows...love that..

Creative Conversations learns about Widowhood & Connection
Saturday Aug 08, 2020
Saturday Aug 08, 2020
In 2007, Dawn gave birth to her first child. Dawn’s husband, Norman was diagnosed with cancer one month later and died when William was just 3 month’s old. Understanding the needs of widows and the limited support services available, Dawn started work on creating The W Connection in 2009.
The 4 pillars of the WConnection are: Connection, Education, Encouragement & Empowerment. Dawn and the volunteers involved with making this space come to life are all about creating a safe space for people to come together to laugh, cry and grow.

Creative Conversations Picks Up A Guitar with Pete Devine
Sunday Jul 26, 2020
Sunday Jul 26, 2020
From Pete's perspective so much of creativity is about the ability to make connections and creative problem solving. He has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, inspired by the Beatles and playing in bands since 13 years of age.
Early on he made a commitment to only play music to which he felt a personal and artistic connection. He has been fortunate to have been able to maintain that commitment.

Creative Conversation Goes to Court with Randi Wolf
Friday Jul 10, 2020
Friday Jul 10, 2020
Two ideas that Randi said that stand out to me: " I see the challenges as opportunities" & " My job does not keep me up at night but gives me the energy to get out of bed in the morning" ( she stated it something like that)
Randi focuses her practice in complex commercial litigation and the defense of professional liability, employment and casualty claims. She has been doing what she does for almost 27 years and loves her profession. She also creates balance and zen time in her life by being in nature and cooking.
These conversations revolve around the same 3 questions:
1) How do you define creativity
2) How do you incorporate it into your life
3) Why do you think it is important?

Creative Conversation Goes Back to School with Lakeisha Berry
Sunday Jun 28, 2020
Sunday Jun 28, 2020
Love so many quotes that Lakeisha said, you need to tune in to hear them all but this one stands out, " Creativity is freedom on so many levels".
Lakeisha attended Temple University and Bryn Mawr Graduate School. She is a Social Worker at Belmont Charter Elementary School where she facilitates small group and individual counseling sessions, conducts family interviews and home visits, and also provides community case management. Prior to her current position, Lakeisha worked as an Admissions Director at a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and as a Case Manager with women and children impacted by HIV/AIDS. She has volunteered with MANNA for almost 20 years by delivering meals to medically fragile clients in the Philadelphia area. This work gives her an opportunity to partner with individuals, groups, families and communities that have been historically marginalized. When she thinks of creativity, freedom comes to mind.

Love this quote from Erika, " Creativity is seeing things differently and being better able to live with uncertainty".
Erika Sage Kelley is an advocate for positive mental health. In her role as Director for NJ’s early childhood advisory council with the NJ Department of Education, she sits on various work groups that support the work of early childhood professionals and educators in building relationships with students and families and ensuring they have access to services and programs that support their mental health.
Erika is also a published writer and poet. As an Arts Education Facilitator, she leads workshops using creative expression, which have helped workshop participants process trauma and promote healing in a safe, group environment.
She mentioned a wonderful game that she plays with her teenagers and younger son to have them open up and talk more freely, check out the site:
